Committee Chairman Vitalii Khomutynnik stated that the primary purpose of the bill (Reg. No. 6482) is to arrange equal
competitive conditions for the different
sectors of financial market, improve the tools
of financial leasing operations, eliminate collisions in civil and
tax legislation on lease issues,
and arrange necessary conditions to attract new
investments to Ukraine with the
help of leasing
mechanisms.
The Committee laid emphasis on the timely character of amendments suggested by the authors of the bill to regulate these legal relations.
